As the name suggests, these cups are made from double thickness paperboard.  This heavyweight material gives extra strength and insulation – protecting hands and keeping drinks hot.  Double wall cups are available with either a PE plastic moisture barrier or a PLA corn starch moisture barrier which allows the cups to be commercially composted. Our standard paper hot drink cups are made from single ply paperboard with a polythene plastic lining.  As part of our EnviroWare® range, we also offer compostable hot drink cups which have a PLA cornstarch moisture barrier.  This allows the cups to be commercially composted.
