Letterpress

Our letterpress department produce the majority of our tissue products. These specialist machines are able to print up to 4 spot colours whilst at the same time bonding and cutting out your items with minimal handling – ideal with delicate tissue items.

We do not require large minimum quantities like many of our competitors, but can work with small runs and short lead times, making us an ideal partner for custom-print solutions.

Flexographic

Flexo printing is essentially a modern version of letterpress evolved with high speed rotary functionality,. This allows us to print much faster and is used for many of our non-tissue paper items such as trayliners and mats. This type of printing is also well suited for printing large areas of solid colour.

Specialist

Our specialist finishing machines are Heilelberg Platen presses. These quality machines are almost 100 years old and are fascinating to watch and listen to. The air pump sucks up paper and blows printed copy onto the delivery pile. The press opens and closes with a rhythmic sound pattern reminiscent of a living animal.

These presses allow extremely small runs of foil printed designs for that special occasion or marketing campaign.
