1983 – Celebration Coasters Ltd

Our beginnings

Celebration began trading under the name Celebration Coasters Ltd in 1983. Our factory in Burton-on-Trent specialised in the manufacture of personalised tissue coasters, along with associated products such as napkins and tray liners.

1990’s – Celebration Paper & Plastics Ltd

Innovative products

In the early 1990’s the company name was changed to Celebration Paper & Plastics Ltd to reflect the introduction of many types of paper and plastic catering disposables to the product portfolio such as drink cups, dinnerware and cutlery.

As a food packaging supplier this led to a quick rise into new food industry areas and more specialised personnel were brought in to allow us to service these needs.

2007 – Enviroware

Our environment

In 2007, Celebration launched EnviroWare® – a range of single use packaging made from natural, renewable & sustainable resources. Raw materials include Plant Starch PLA (polylactic acid), Bagasse from non wood fibres such as sugarcane, wood from sustainable sources and palm leaves.

Once used, EnviroWare® packaging is commercially compostable (compliant with EN13432).

Many of these items are sourced from FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) certified materials.  Look for these FSC® products throughout our website.
